I’m leaving Sunday for a week in the Adirondacks. It’s been YEARS since I’ve actually had a week long vacation, and I’m overly excited, at least that’s what I tell myself since last night I got a whopping 1 hour of sleep. Plus with this trip there’s camping and hiking (and kayaking) involved.
I recently saw a post in one of the Bullet Journal Facebook groups I’m a member of about vacation Journaling and decided I was defenitly going to make that happen for this trip! Unfortunatly when I went back to look for the video to tag it I couldn’t find it! Sorry! Just know this idea isn’t actually mine.

I actually work up around 5:45 today to the sound of my cats figuring out that the door to my bedroom wasn’t all the way closed. They escaped. I should have know that was going to be the start to a rough Miracle Morning routine…

Day two (yesterday) wasn’t exactly as easy to rise with the alarm as it was for day one. But my excitement to complete this challenge and the productivity I had for most of the day yesterday is an added plus.
I’m going to blame the thunderstorm and torrential downpour that resulted in me needing to close the windows and me falling asleep before I had the chance to open them back up, which had me awake only a few hours later feeling like I was sleeping in a sauna for my extra tiredness today. (Whatever makes you feel better right?)

2017 I have dubbed the year of the weddings. So far I have like 5… The first is next week, and I thought it would be the perfect time to explain how I trip plan in my Bullet Journal.
Trip planning is fun, making the arrangements and lists (oh the lists!). Planning out the things you want to do and so much more! This trip (well road trip as I am driving) will be short since 4 of the 5 day will be spent at least some portion in the car…yuck. But it will be worth it, I have no doubt.

Oh guys… Can I just tell you how much I LOVE this idea!
I’ve seen the flip out color key before. But for this journal I decided to do my entire key as a flip out. It just made sense! And it was really easy to do!

Yesterday was the beginning of a New Year… and we all know what that means!
